trade area.
- Continued residential development with an average
of 588 new dwelling approvals per annum over the last
5 years.
- The trade area population currently generates an
estimated $1.1 billion in retail expenditure which
is projected to increase by 4.4% per annum to $1.75
billion in 2016.
- The largest spending category is on food, liquor
and groceries which accounts for 42.5% of total retail
expenditure.
